Two books that would make the ideal Christmas gift for friends and family.
The Aussie adventure book -Ride the Wind- has its penultimate chapter set on Christmas Eve. The final chapter on Christmas Day. As special guests, sisters Dakota and Chaney attend the wedding of Prince Kyle and the beautiful fairy Aislinn. Arriving home secretly in the early hours of Christmas morning after a night of celebration in the magic kingdom, happy hours are spent with their beloved horses Galaxy and Star and shared with the two dogs- Simba and Enzo. Once again Simba will come to Chaney’s rescue as he is fed the dreaded sprouts, but not without the usual smelly consequences!
The historical thriller- The Satin Moth- opens in the days leading up to Christmas as the main character Maddie and her father welcome their relatives to the Castle. Celebrations will be short-lived however as the voodoo curse which has haunted the family for centuries is unleashed once again. The story unfolds. Some years later the book closes- once again on Christmas Day. Maddie will go out riding on her precious pony- Eclipse and is joined by the cousins she adores. It had been snowing heavily and she will describe the countryside around her as: “it’s like riding through Narnia.”
BOTH BOOKS WOULD MAKE THE PERFECT YULETIDE GIFT FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
